UT Austin MFA Film & Media Prod Fall 2024 - Who's applying?

I had my interview as well. I think it went alright and I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I’d be so that was nice. But definitely still felt a bit awkward lol. Did anyone happen to find out when they’re going to be releasing info on acceptances?
I'm curious too! It seems like they're doing it different than the past few years based on going back through this forum -- last year they received news near Feb 15th - Mar 1 with only a few ppl being interviewed, 2022 they heard on Feb 21 without interviews...so I guess we're in new waters this year 🤪

I didn't get a notification, but I checked my portal this morning and saw that I've been admitted!
OMG CONGRATSSSS!!!!!! SWEEP!!!! also is anybody getting a "your eid is not authorized" message when logging into mystatus? so weird...I might just let the website (and myself) breathe for a few hours before trying again

I had the same thing happen to me but it was because I was logging into the undergrad portal. Try googling my status for graduate applications and see if that works.

Sadly my application still says in review 🙃 but congrats to everyone who was accepted!
I'm right there with you! My nerves have been completely shot since last week when all the schools I applied to started sending out acceptances. None for me though... Kinda getting the feeling that it's just not gonna happen for me. I've been a total wreck tbh. Just hang in there the best you can! You're not alone in this! Everything will work out the way that it is meant to! Best of luck to you and congrats to all those who have been accepted, so excited for all of you! Much love! ❤️

Lots of folks showed up. It was good. We got to meet more of the admitted students in Production, Screenwriting and Media Studies. Facilities are nice. Equipment room was expansive. And all the 1 on 1 meetings with faculty were informative. I didn’t stay for pitches, but all the current students I’ve met have been good people.

Did anyone go to admitted students weekend? How did it go?

Awesome!! I bet that was great to get to meet some future classmates. Wish I could've made it out, but keep me updated if y'all end up deciding to go there.
