What questions do you have for the London Film School admissions department?

FilmSchool.org is interviewing London Film School, one of the world's leading postgraduate film institutions! LFS offers three MA programs and one PhD program. The college also made The Hollywood Reporter's list of best international film schools in 2021.

For an idea of what our admissions department interview series has to offer, take a look at our interview with AFI:

How to Get Into AFI Conservatory: Exclusive Advice From the Admissions Office (Part 1)

Ask anyone about where to go to film school, and you’re bound to hear the American Film Institute Conservatory. First established in 1967, AFI is world renowned for producing pioneers and trailblazers in the film industry. In 2024, The Hollywood Reporter ranked AFI the no. 2 film program in the...

Here are a few questions I plan to ask:

1. How does the one-year MA International Film Business program prepare students to become leaders in the film industry?
2. Four LFS graduate students attended this year’s Fastnet Festival. What other film festivals do LFS students and alumni attend?
3. What additional sources of financial support do you provide?
4. Name your most popular program?

We ask that you please try to submit all other questions by this Friday (July 15) at 12:00 p.m. (PST).

Finally, a huge thank you to our Supporting Members! You make articles like these possible. Please consider upgrading your account today for access to our private student clubs and forums, database of film school applications (3,500+ and counting!) and even more perks.

It's known that LFS filmmaking is a program that focuses on the practical parts very much, so does LFS encourage different art styles from students like more experimental and inter-disciplinary filmmaking? Do they have more opportunities to try different styles and arts in their film or just focus on traditional storytelling?

Have a few more that'll be really helpful to hear from them!
1. Given the highly practical nature of the course, could you share a little more about the equipment students have access to?

2. Does the school have an active placements support system for students? What's the post-graduation support LFS offers?

3. What are some of the major upgrades the school has made to the curriculum, equipment and facilities over the recent years?
