This one is hard to answer... I would say stepping away for a while is a great way to "reset." Sometimes I go as far as starting a new idea and then coming back to it if I get sudden inspiration. If I'm on a time restraint, the best thing I do is skip around and flesh out another part of my script instead of writing in order.
I take a walk with some music, or take a shower with some music, or lay in bed with some music, or uh... go to a cafe and listen to some music.
But seriously, I find a change of location helps a lot. You have to engage your body to move locations, and are therefore taken outside of your mind for a bit. All the doubts fears and general mess in my head disappears momentarily and I feel like I did a mini reset for my mind. If I'm at home I go to a cafe, if I'm at a cafe I go to amother cafe... wow my life is boring haha
