Decision Pending is what WebAdvisor says for anyone who hasn't had a decision made for them yet. Mine changed from Decision Pending to Admission Accepted. I think it will either change to that or Admission Rejected, or at least that's what I've heard. I know it's hard, but try to be patient...
Well, for starters, I don't think most people actually even think to ask for a fellowship (like yourself) due to the predisposed inclination that most schools actually evaluate candidates on a case by case basis to assess his/her eligibility for financial assistance. Secondly, I just assumed I...
I actually never once asked for a fellowship and received one. I technically missed the priority deadline by a day as well, so I wasn't even eligible. I just assumed, at least in my case, that they specifically evaluated my interview, application materials, and undergrad transcript for me to be...
I'm a current MFA Producer at Chapman. I'm so happy I chose Chapman. Originally, my plan was to attend either NYU or Chapman for the MBA/MFA, but I graduated undergrad this past June, and time got away from me, so I didn't get to take the GMAT. Personally, I'm glad I didn't. It adds another...
Has anyone gotten their schedule for the fall yet? I'm in the producing program, and I keep calling about the schedules and they keep telling me they'll be posted on WebAdvisor that same day and never are.
Also, has anyone gotten any information about summer reading/film viewing? I was told...
if any of your guys are comfortable, could you post your rent/utilities/expenses on this thread so some of us new people can see what we're in for? i'm from the east coast, so it's going to be a struggle to find living arrangements and such, and any information would be extremely helpful.
oh ok. does anyone know if loans will cover rent or how i could go about applying for enough loans to cover rent, food, etc. considering i have about no money saved?
is anyone looking to move into a 2 bedroom to lower the cost per person a little? my girlfriend and i are hoping to find a roommate. we were looking mainly at tustin and orange if anyone's interested.
@ mike_v
is there enough time to work at all? i'm in the producing program, and i'm probably going to need some sort of income. otherwise, i guess i'll need to take out enough loans to cover rent, food, etc. is this an available option too?
chapman has a great film program, as you know, but i'm not sure about their other liberal arts concentrations. they do have a good business school and a good law school from what i've heard. if film is your passion, i would say stick with chapman because you'll be able to make great films...
@daniel my undergrad degree will be in business with a minor in law and a minor in film. you might want to look into doing a minor in film and a degree in something that will diversify you a little.
@lady is there a way to deposit it directly online or do we have to send in a check? also, is there a number with your info you could give me? the reason i'm asking is because i'm constantly back and forth between my apartment in philly and my parents house, and all of the mail i've been...
