    yeah, it's been an interesting ride. i just wanted to say -- i am insanely jealous of those of u who have gotten in, and i am definitely pulling for you to do the best work you possibly can -- however you define that, doing whatever kind of projects you want to do. make mistakes, take risks...

    i'm in the process of being rejected by AFI. it hurts. what else there to say, really? rejection always feels bad. i'm just so, so, so thankful i've also been accepted somewhere, somewhere i will be really, really happy ... but it, surprisingly, doesn't lessen the sting of rejection that much...

    i'm in roughly the same region of the country as both JG @ KayS ... i didn't get an e-mail, so i'm thinking i won't be getting an e-mail. i'm thinking that's not a promising sign (for me at least), if they're doing it geographically. who knows.

    LMU is *definitely* more than worth your time. everything i hear about it is positive. the program is newer, but highly respected in "the biz." i've got no idea why more LMU peeps aren't on these forums, lol.

    i'm with u on that one. i'm STILL not sure UCLA ever got my application materials. my status web page says they haven't been received. i'm assuming i've been rejected @ UCLA just by virtue of the fact that application may have never actually made it there.
