When I first found these forums there were so many nice helpful people willing to share the process of applying with each other. It was a great environment and I became close to many of the people I've met here.
Lately these forums have been filled with disrespectful, pretentious, instigators...
How'd you pick your top film school choice? How much research did you do?
As for me-- I just fell into Chapman. It was a fall back for me and honestly I knew nothing about it until I came to this site a year ago and heard from others how amazing it was. Then the research started and the campus...
So I thought it might be fun for all the west coast people to get together and do a Disneyland trip-- since Disneyland is a must do for people new to CA. Any thoughts?
Congrats to those going to Chapman next year. I am so excited for us.
Just an FYI though, they changed the application status interface on their website recently. What once said "Congratulations you've been accepted" now reads the same way it did for everyone who was rejected. Don't panic (I...
Hi I posted this for those of us who are Chapman bound (Or those who just want to live on the LA outskirts).

This might give us all a more accurate time frame as to when we should be hearing from grad schools.

Is it just me or is all the stress of applying to grad school making you a little crazy? I mean I check these message boards about 50 times a day just to see if there is anything new I'm missing. And I wonder to myself what the hell am I going to do if I don't get in? Will I apply again next...
Seems like we all basically applied for the same places. Just wondering which will be your first choice if you get in?
As for me, I only applied to Chapman (screen writing)and UCLA (Directing. Ideally I would go to UCLA, but in all honesty, I go to whichever funds me better.
;)
Anybody heard from Chapman Grad yet or know anything about their interview process? Who all applied here? Any info on the program or interview would be greatly appreciated!
