I don't think going to a film school should be something that can hurt, if you think that getting that rejection hurts then wait until you make a film that should be your main focus anyways. By the end of last Friday all of the calls for NYU should've already gotten out. I'm afraid I have not obtained one and will be waiting for my rejection letter instead.
