im going to USC for Film Production this coming Fall.
Not gonna lie, the USC app is a real pain in the ass, but it will definitely give you a chance to shine if you are a talented writer. I say its a pain in the ass because you have to write 3 extra essays on top of the regular USC...

umm strengths, i had pretty high stats. I have a 4.04 GPA and i got a 2210 on the SAT. I wrote what i thought to be were some pretty good essays and i had a lot of stuff in my portfolio list that probably helped.
now i just have to decide...

Hey everyone. i know this is a very common question, but im trying to make a big decision here. I got into both USC and Chapman as production major and im really torn between the two.

USC - Big name, excellent alumni/connections, great staff, great campus...

just got my acceptance letter today! BFA in Film Production. I am definitely considering chapman. i am still waiting for a letter from USC to make my final decision.
braininabox, yeah i think thats the closest i can get to general ed clusters while still sort of staying close to something that is somewhat related to film. thanks for the replies.

yeah. i just visited the ucla film school. This is what its all about. you can only apply your junior year. Even if u get into UCLA and get all ur GE courses done your freshman and sophomore year, there is no guarantee that you will be accepted into the film school when you apply your junior...
