    What are your backgrounds?

    I'm did my undergrad in English after leaving Biomedical engineering. Have been working in the Indian film industry for the past 4 years, almost entirely shooting television commercials. Never found the right feature to get onto sadly. My only regret before attending film school.

    @edzbit - yes I applied for production. My Skype interview was equally bad but that did not stop me from getting in. Any news? They should have taken decisions and have sent out emails by now. Those who have not been selected are usually sent a notification about a rejection or a waitlist...

    Final decisions for me - Columbia - Rejected UCLA - Rejected FSU - Accepted after waitlist (they mention a an acceptance letter of production, then mention me as a writing applicant below. Very strange. But I am truly amazed and happy. :)

    @tigeri - they're not getting another $100 (since I am international student) from me anymore. That way FSU admissions department was damn good in their prompt responses and their application fee was like $35.
