I’m Thomas Xie, and I’ve spent the last 10 years working in the film industry, producing 6 feature films and over 200 episodes of TV across the US, China, and France. I graduated from the USC Peter Stark Producing Program and Beijing Film Academy, and I currently work in Business Affairs at Sony Pictures Animation.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned firsthand how challenging the industry can be, and I’m passionate about helping aspiring filmmakers navigate their own paths. That’s why I founded a community dedicated to providing filmmakers with the resources I wish I had when starting out—everything from application guidance and resume workshops to coaching on budgeting, financing, distribution, and more. My goal is to support the next generation of filmmakers and help them succeed in this ever-evolving industry.
