NYU graduate film $300k!? Why?
Yeah, it’s crazy expensive, you’re not wrong. A lot of it is the NYU name, NYC location, and access to industry people/resources. The third year does feel like a cash grab to many - you’re mostly paying to finish your thesis. If you’re comparing it to Columbia’s 2 years, it’s a legit concern...- VictorGons

Any updates from the USC Film Production MFA Waitlist?
Yeah, that’s a pretty common situation. I’d definitely email them and mention both your visa concerns and preference for Spring - it won’t hurt, and at least they’ll have it on record.- VictorGons
