    Questions about LFS and NTFS

    Hey, I think NFTS degrees are validated by the Royal College of Art! And no it doesn't make a difference at all, it's very common. RADA, for example, is validated by Kings College London but no one would ever ask that! Hope that helps ☺️

    I actually find the GradCas system a bit complicated and it's hard to do a final check of everything but other than that everything was relatively easy. I like the scene prompts AFI give as they are so broad which is nice.

    The only school that didn't ask for extra creative materials but did ask for a full length pilot. They had the option of submitting an additional 30-minute pilot (to total 60 pages all together) which I did do this year, I didn't do this the first time I applied in 2020 and regretted it haha.

    Second time applying. Much happier with my creative challenges this time around but less happy with my 10-page sample. Also submitted the same (slightly edited) autobiographical statement which maybe I should have re-written but hey-ho.

    Congratulations!! That's amazing! 🎉 I haven't heard anything yet but I feel like it's usually acceptances, waitlist and then rejections so I'll hold out for my rejection email 😂 fingers crossed you get offered a space later down the line! No mine hasn't been concluded on the dashboard either.

    I actually really didn't know what to say on that one haha. Found it a bit hard to fill the word count and make it interesting? I ended up just giving my idea of what a writer would do in the production process 🤷‍♀️
