ok, so i just got the saturday at the square letter, so i'm assuming that i got in since it says "admitted tisch class of 2011."
now here's the dilemma:
i also got accepted to usc, but not as a production major. i can transfer, but its not a guarantee, whereas with nyu i know i'll be doing...
after graduating at nyu with a major in film, where does one go to work? pa on a set in ny? la? please tell me about what most people do after graduating... i want to be secure financially.
what exactly is the chronological cirriculum for nyu? i'm basically asking this question for two reasons... 1) i want to know when i will have a camera in my hand, and 2) my plan is to make a thesis-like short for sundance and other festivals, to get my name out in the industry. my main concern...
for the tisch dramatic writing part of the application, it says "no longer than 4 pages." mine is 2 and a half, and i feel i can write very little more on the subject (although I feel what I have is very good). does it matter that it is over a page shorter than the limit?
i was wondering if you guys could evaluate my chances of getting into tisch...
here's my film:

here's a short i'm thinking about submitting as the portfolio film for my tisch application (along with a demo reel that will be online shortly) please let me know what you think of it.

tisch says they accept demo reels for their creative porfolio submissions...
i am in the process of making a 6-7 minute short and i'm also putting together a demo reel which should be around 3-4 minutes.
do you recommend that i submit one or the other... both?
