Nothing complicated. The intent word limit was short, so I struggled to distill my 3 page intent into 400 words.
They did want a film with sync sound and dialogues. My film has sync sound but no dialogue, so I had to use a chopped scene with dialogue into the narrative to meet that requirement.
I loved doing the Intent for FAMU as it was very specific and the prompts encouraged me to elucidate about my artistic inclinations.

The application itself was easy. Unlike other schools, AFI's essays pertain to the films I made, which is pretty convenient.
