The most nervous I felt about an application. BU is my first choice so I felt a lot of pressure. I went a bit more stylistic on my personal essay and was incredibly nervous in my KIRA assessment, so I'm hoping my portfolio sample really speaks to my potential.
The application process was really easy; I submitted the usual personal statement & CV and opted to submit a single 20-page sample. The hardest part was the Kira assessment, primarily because it was a little nerve-wracking trying to answer questions under a timer. I was sure I bombed it as I...
I began work on my application in late December and applied the 3rd of January, but there is no news yet. I have additionally not received notice of any interviews.

I had been accepted for MS in Television at Boston University, but now I have been pulled off the waitlist from LMU. I have always had a film background, but since I have not explored Television, I am open to the idea of exploring the industry. Switching back to film seems hard after pursuing MS...
Does anyone know if Boston University uses their MyBU portal for the Screenwriting MFA applications? I tried to access it and had trouble signing on. I know in years past, decision notifications have come out around this time and I don't want to miss it. Thanks!
