First time applying.
What most made this application stand out was the video interview via Kira Talent. After being posed a question, you have 45 seconds to consider an answer and then will be filmed for 90 seconds to answer. I found it freeing to be able to answer by myself with no one watching...
Application was similar to others. The only thing I didn't like was the Kira assessment. I don't think it's a good way to get to know us, an interview would be better. We don't have enough time to prepare and answer the questions.
Does anyone know if Boston University uses their MyBU portal for the Screenwriting MFA applications? I tried to access it and had trouble signing on. I know in years past, decision notifications have come out around this time and I don't want to miss it. Thanks!
