Submitted my application the day of the deadline. I submitted a short film I did cinematography for, a film reel, and a 20-page screenplay. I also wrote a 2-page scene (an application requirement for the program).
I was just accepted it both USC's Film Production MFA and Chapman's Directing MFA and I'm extremely grateful as I have absolutely no experience in film. However, I'm at a complete lost on which one would be best for me. I've included my pros/cons below for each, and if anyone could...
Does anyone know when the admission decisions will roll out for CSUN MFA? I read a few posts a while back which said mid March or
last week or March but today I came across another post which said April/ May.
Hi, didn't see a thread for this but it seems like emails have been sent out. I got the following message:
"Congratulations! After reviewing your MFA application materials, the committee voted unanimously to select you as a finalist for our Cinema MFA program at San Francisco State University...
Submitted one minute before the deadline (😬) but it wouldn't accept my link to my video submission. I emailed immediately after and sent the link along with my official transcript as they had also mentioned to email, and they messaged back the next day or so saying they opened my application...
