yeah, it's a great thing you are joining your son in making such BIG BIG decisions.
Well, going straight to the point, I guess I will say schools like New York Film Academy and Los Angeles Film school are really a waste of time. And to an extent too, FullSail. Right now I am an undergraduate...
I am seriously wondering if going for SAIC is the best option because from what I hear it has one of the best film programs. Plus since I study in Illinois I think going to grad school in the same state would be great. So do you think it can provide individuals with connections? I mean I have...
hey,
I just want to find out what schools besides being great give students the opportunity to connect with people that could open doors in the future.
Schools to Consider:- FSU, School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), CalArts, etc.
Coming up with considerations of yours will be...
Which of these 3 is the best...I mean taking into consideration, number of years to complete program, quality of program, connections that will be made, etc.
Various opinions will be appreciated.
That exactly is my point... Do students really finish in 2years or do most spend a semester or more. I guess what I need to know is specifically statistics but of course no one here will be able to provide me with one.

So Syracuse has the business...
Does anyone know Film grad schools that are for a year? I have heard about Syracuse and it's the only one I have heard of but it seems like it is focused on the business aspect of film/tv production...

hey you are right there is a rapidly growing film industry in Africa (especially in Nigeria, of which I am from). But my advice would be to learn the art here in the US and then move down there.
Warning:- Expect to face a lot of challenges when u get there...it will be tough.
