The application is quite short, which made me nervous because I don't have a strong visual portfolio, such as short films outside of school assignments. But I did appreciate the three short questions I had to answer, as other schools didn't ask anything outside of portfolios.
It's been a long but rewarding journey. Preparing my materials pushed me to reflect deeply on my creative identity and long-term goals as a producer. The interview felt thoughtful and respectful, and I was fortunate to receive early acceptance, which I'm very grateful.
The process was pretty straightforward. I submitted my application on the day of the deadline, and my two references were a college professor and a director I had previously worked with. My interview was with two faculty members from the Producing program, and it felt more like a vibe check —...
Application was similar to other MFA programs. I have minimal experience in actual film production since my undergrad was not in film and my film experience is all in awards campaigns, distribution, and film festivals, but I think I made it work and I'm happy with what I submitted.
Great interview, had a wonderful follow up with the producing head, as well as meet & greet Zoom session. I knew multiple alumni, which drew me to applying to the program. Continued industry changes has drawn me to looking at alternative programs or holding pat.

The second time applying. I revised my last materials as much as possible but failed. The admission told me that I had no experience in the film industry so it was difficult for them to accept me.
Admitted by the school. The application process is easy; I always got replies from the admission office immediately once I wrote an email to them. Thus, I think the school is highly helpful. Actually, this is my third and last try! Finally, I make it. So, I highly suggest you do not give up if...
