How has the application process gone so far?

Was admitted but unfortunately they couldn't...

Hey - I just applied for the first time too - considering doing the FYV course if I don’t get in this time. How is that course?

@HELLO5088 It's been incredible! I'm studying online with the NFTS Scotland location. Can't speak on the other locations but the tutor for the Scotland FYV course is absolutely inspiring. He's great at answering questions, explaining concepts in fun and engaging ways, and is just overall a brilliant and thoughtful tutor. I feel like my writing has greatly improved already. I would highly recommend applying if the MA doesn't pan out. I hope it does though :)

My application status just changed to "processed and prepared for the selection panel." Any updates on yours?

Hey - that sounds amazing! Will definitely apply if no luck with the MA. My application just says 'Completed' on the Dashboard - is that where yours has change? Perhaps because you're already in the short course they're reviewing yours first? Sounds like positive news anyway!

Updated to ‘At selection panel’ now!

Sorry for the slow response, I've been out of town.

Mine changed to "at selection panel" as well, so nerve wracking. I know it'll still likely be some time before we hear back but I can't help myself but to login and check every day.

I actually had a dream I received an interview notification, completely believed it was real until I logged on to the portal. Crushing 🤦🏻‍♀️

Haha that’s brilliant - I’m also checking every 5 minutes. I attended the FYV online open day today and asked if I could apply to the FVY and MFA concurrently. They responded by saying we will be finding out about our MFA applications very soon.

I’m unaware as to whether this was a vague, throwaway comment, or one grounded in insider knowledge.

Nevertheless, it will only serve to reinforce my increasingly unhealthy relationship with Ctrl+R.

Hey! welcome!! It may still be a month from now or longer! I’m tempted to email them to find out a rough schedule but also don’t want to annoy them! Did you apply anywhere else?

Hi! Been looking at this site for a while and finally decided to post about the incoming MA Screenwriting course. My application also changed to selection panel. I'm so nervous! I'm losing it lol. I'm posting here because it's nice seeing other people in the same boat.
