The application process went very well. I originally applied for the MA in Screenwriting, but the interviewer told me that he thought the MA in Filmmaking might be a better fit. After sending a mail with a visual portfolio, they changed my application.
A long waiting period with very little information offered to applicants about the status of their application. A few people have been invited to interviews. I haven't received one.
This was a very straightforward application to fill out. They did not ask for much. I believe the most important part of this application was the personal statement as a huge chunk of my interview was based around that.
It's going well. But one thing applicants should be double-checked is the interview confirmation because it's the peak time of interviews. My original appointment should be 3 days before this one but the admission officer just miss it accidentally.
Was in correspondence with a very helpful admission guidance counsellor through email throughout the admission progress. I attended their 4 Weeks Filmmaking program before and therefore had a lot of questions about visa renewal and migration stuff. Had to upload documents onto NYFA admissions...
Uploaded required documents to GradCAS and waited. Process of uploaded to GradCAS was easy. Deadline for submission was 1 Dec. Have yet to hear from them.

So far so good. Had my interview with a visiting faculty member from the cinematography department. He asked me questions about my work experience, life so far and the short film script I had to submit as a part of my application.

I felt that the whole application process was very smooth and the interviewer was very kind. I was given an offer five hours after the interview. It was a very easy and pleasant application process.
