Admitted (After Interview) Chapman Showrunner Program MFA

Application process was pretty smooth. Submitted past the due date since there was an extension. Sent in the first 10 pages of a pilot episode I’d written. Probably the best interview experience I had by professor and former program director. The conversation flowed really nicely and they...

Denied (w/o Interview) UT Austin Screenwriting- MFA, 2025

The application process has gone smoothly, though I will say there are a few things about the application site itself that are a little confusing. There's no official submission button, which feels a little nerve-wracking- and it also takes a good while for letters of recommendation to appear on...

Admitted but Not Attending (After Interview) MFA Cinema and Television Directing - Columbia College Chicago

The application was a bit lengthy compared to other universities I applied to. But overall, everything went okay. CCC quickly responded to the application submission, so I wish I had applied earlier in Nov-Dec because they admit students on a rolling basis and I think I missed out on the chance...

Admitted but Not Attending (w/o Interview) BU Television MS

The college extended the priority deadline to the 17th for all of its master programs. You need a resume, a dialogue writing sample, a critical writing sample, a statement, and a quick online "interview" of sorts. I applied to the producing/writing discipline.

    Syracuse Newhouse TRF program 2022

Didn’t see a thread, so just wanna create one and ask: anyone joining the program this summer? I’m hoping to get in touch with my classmates, but I don’t see many in the FB group the school created. Hope to hear from you guys soon :)

Boston University MS in Television Fall 2022

HI! I was wondering if anyone else was planning on applying to BU's MS in Television for the Fall of 2022! I thought I would start a thread for it because I didn't see one yet.

Admitted (After Interview) Boston University - M.S. in Television

BU didn't do an interview, but rather included filmed interview questions as part of their application. The way this worked is a video would play that asked a question, you get 45 seconds to think of an answer, and then your camera turns on for 90 seconds for you to reply. No going back once...

Has anyone heard anything from Boston University?

Starting to slowly loose hope on my BU applications
  10. V

Admitted (w/o Interview) Boston University - College of Communication (MS in Television : Production/Management)

You need to upload a writing sample if you want to take writing classes during your graduation at BU. BU doesn’t take interviews, you do have to answer a few questions over Kira Talent though.

Admitted (After Interview) Columbia College Chicago - Cinema and Television Producing

Applied on January 6th and didn't hear from them until they contacted me for an interview a month later.

Denied (After Interview) Chapman TV Writing & Producing

Applied with all of the required materials. They didn't request to see any of the items on my portfolio before scheduling an interview. The interview was somewhat casual. They asked about my experiences in undergrad and my internship before shifting gears to discuss my interests in television...

Is the MFA Writing and Producing for Television from Long Island University any good?

I noticed there isn't much about this program on this site and was wondering if it's any good. I came across some really bad reviews regarding the university on Reddit, but again nothing in specific about this course. It would be nice to know first hand experience or any word of mouth...

Best Well-Rounded Film MFA Program for Directing and Screenwriting?

Hi everyone! First off, I'm going to apologize in advance if the following questions seem foolish to ask or easy to answer on my own, but they are questions I have been really struggling with and would appreciate any insight! I am currently working on applying for my film MFA, and I was...
