    well I guess its early next week now. I don't think we'd see anything on the weekend. I hope we get to hear something by Monday/Tuesday. Until then, I'm gonna try and distract myself and not think about it too much... I'm spending the whole day on a recce today and tomorrow is work, so shouldn't...

    I phoned the registry up yesterday to ask what the latest update was for DF and they said they hadn't sent the invitations yet. She said they would do it hopefully by tomorrow (today) or early next week. Fingers crossed. Good luck guys...

    Yea I got my application processed email on the 16th of may :-) According to last year's posts, people who applied for DF didn't get any correspondence until like mid-july so I expect the same type of thing this year? Good Luck to you too :-)

As for workshops, when I went to the open day back in March, they had mentioned there are some workshops but they are not mandatory to attend if you get accepted on the course, as far as I can...

    When I visited the Open day for DF in March, they mentioned something about a "visual" test just before the interview takes place, a sort of an "ice-breaker" to get the applicant comfortable etc... I suspect there are similar test for all the other specialties...

    Hey Tasos, I was at the Open day too, I think the message I got out of it was that they want to see our Directorial skills, your voice in the film. They particularly stressed that it doesn't matter what you shoot it on, as long as it shows off your directing potential. Tarkovsky and Rogue both...
