Hi ya,
Did you apply for Direction Fiction? I'm on that boat but haven't heard anything yet. A little worried...
To clarify for those who applied for the DF course, it does say in the initial email that an email confirming the application is being processed can take up to six weeks to be received by an applicant. It's only just been a month. I think if you haven't received a response after 19th June, then you have cause to contact them about it, but I'm afraid we could be waiting another two weeks before we hear anything. It could also take a further two weeks beyond that to discover whether or not we've been shortlisted for an interview.
I suspect the only reason DCL has received a processing email is because they required his references. That being said, I did contact them for an unrelated reason and the person who responded informed me that my application was being processed and that I should have received an email. I told them that I had not, and that I would take their telling me this as an indication that it was being processed. I didn't receive any further response, so I assume this was satisfactory to them.
yea it does say 6 weeks in the confirmation email, and luckily i got mine around 2 weeks ago, but was just curious how everyone else is doing?best of luck people...
How much notice do they give for interviews?
Hello! Anyone heard from them yet?

Hi, yeah me too, for Editing. Do you know what the interviews are like?
In the email they send when you email apply@, it says that people will be invited to interviews up to two weeks before it takes place.
Edit: It seems that Directing Fiction applicants don't have a workshop aspect to the interview, however.
Hi everyone, I've applied for the MA Directing Documentary (hence the super creative name), and I'm just wondering if anyone has had an invite to an interview yet? I know its only been a month but I'm starting to get worried. Any advice would be greatly appreciate.
Have you received confirmation that your application has been processed, and requesting references etc.? It looks as though Editing applicants have started to be interviewed, but the rest of us are eagerly waiting!
