    Application process was pretty straightforward. I spent a couple months working on my application materials, and then heard back about an interview in February, and found out about acceptance on March 29.

    Attending (Off Waitlist After Interview) UT Austin - MFA Screenwriting

    This was a pretty straightforward application and it was definitely a quicker process than many others schools. I'm currently waitlisted at UT, which isn't surprising considering they only take 7 new students per cohort. I'm holding my breath until the end! We're supposed to hear back by April 18.

    Admitted but Not Attending (w/o Interview) Boston University - MFA Screenwriting

    The application was relatively simple and the early deadline was a couple months later than most other schools so you can give some good focus to it. I was admitted and granted some pretty good scholarships but unfortunately the price was still too high for me to attend in good conscience.

    Process was good. I loved the interviewers. The department chair called me in the afternoon to let me know I had gotten in and then my letter and fin aid was available the following day

    My IELTS expired on December 2023, I applied to the program well before that, turns out if the IELTS is valid while you submit the application, it's considered complete which is not the case everywhere.

    First time I am applying. The application is hassle-free. You put an application on the common Texas website, 'apply Texas'. Once you pay the amount, you can apply through the college website. Again, very simple if you have all the checklist materials.

    It was a very easy and straightforward application. If you attend the Zoom AMA's, they will give you a code for a fee waiver at the end. There's an opportunity to apply for a fellowship in the application which I think is pretty cool.

    The video interview questions at the end were awkward and threw me for a loop. There wasn't enough time to process the question, then answer it succinctly, but outside of that it was a straightforward application.

    The application process was pretty straightforward, I just had to submit a personal statement, up to 20 page writing sample, and up to 5 page narrative scene.

    Admitted (w/o Interview) SCAD Film & Television MFA

    It was super easy and straight forward. SCAD has rolling decision so they get back to you pretty quickly. The only issue that I had was my short film was not uploading into SlideRoom so they had to reopen my application for me to find another way to submit it.
