Bummer. I saw you were accepted elsewhere... Have you decided where you're going or are you waiting for more?

Undecided. Despite my desire to head to CA and be close to the action, I am pretty deflated right now. Will see. I have roots in my local film community. Feels pretty compelling (and less risky) right now to stay local. Very up in the air.
But I'm excited to go to see my film at the Beverly Hills Film Festival. No admissions denial can take that away.

I agree - Chapman's application is not very robust. FYI, back in the day...USC's wasn't either. Not sure what Chapman is looking for, but I would imagine they're still trying to diversify their student body. As far as heading out to CA - one thing I'll say: It's much easier to transition into the southern California community through school as opposed to venturing out after school when you're not shielded. It's much easier to make the transition and make new friends when enrolled. I realized this after attending USC originating from the east coast. It would have been very costly and difficult to tackle Los Angeles without school. Best of luck.
