Any Taiwanese American screenwriters (any experience level) up for a chat?

Hi! So the most creative thing I do is grind out Excel spreadsheets and financial models. I have no business writing a screenplay at all.

With that said, I do have a screenplay idea that I've fleshed out in my head for 10 years that is a weird story about the Taiwanese American experience. I would greatly appreciate any advice/feedback on this.

I am by no means a screenwriter, but I'm actually interested in filmmaking and happen to be Taiwanese American myself! What are your ideas?
