How was the admissions process? I was accepted to another school and deferred until Fall 2019. Did you have to interview with the film department? How soon after you submit your application were you accepted?I will be attending DePaul's this fall for my MFA. The 3 year MFA course is placed at 27 k per year. I think this is a relatively cheaper option for graduate students. This is without scholarships . If you apply by the December scholarship deadline then you can get upto 7k worth of scholarship per year. I am speaking with regards to international students. Hope this helps someone.
Congrats on interviewing next week!Anyone have experience with this program? Im interviewing next week and am not sure what to expect!
Hi, I'm Siri. Sorry for the bothering. I also received the offter of this MS program this year. Would u plz tell me if u attend it or not? Is it good enough for cinematogranphy?Hi! Anybody here considering DePaul for cinematography concentration? Thought it'd be great to gather some info. (I'm considering FSU-production as the first option)
Wanted to know what kinda equipment do they offer and also how practically intensive their course is.
Thanks!
Hi Shirui, I'm studying editing at DePaul, and I know many friends in the cinematography program. I think DePaul's cinematography program is good; it's a STEM program, which is good news for international students. However, the downside is that over the two years, there are only about 13 courses in total. DePaul uses the quarter system, which means there are only two courses per quarter, making it hard to learn a lot in class.Hi, I'm Siri. Sorry for the bothering. Additionally, although DePaul has well-defined majors, the connection between different majors isn't as close as at AFI or Chapman. You need to be very proactive in socializing and seeking opportunities. I hope you have better options, but DePaul is still a good school.
I'm still waiting for the LMU result. I'm on the fence. I won't attend it if i only have this offer. How about u?Hi, I'm Siri. Sorry for the bothering. I also received the offter of this MS program this year. Would u plz tell me if u attend it or not? Is it good enough for cinematogranphy?
