The primarily online Hollins MFA Screenwriting Program's August 15th deadline is fast approaching. We have some scholarship money left and it's FREE to apply. Looking for talented candidates to fill our Fall 2026 cohort.
2026-2027 guest speakers will include Vanessa Taylor - Oscar nominee, The Shape of Water, Nicole Bryant- Hidden Pictures Executive, Kathryn Ross - Disney Marketing Executive and Oren Uziel - Spider Noir showrunner/creator…just to name (drop) a few.
We are also thrilled to have esteemed TV executive Gerard Bocaccio run theFILM 506 Producers Track, Part I: Industry course, and Lauren Wells, of Emmy winning What We Do in the Shadows, Impossible Kimmy Schmidt, will teach our FILM 550: Adaptations course. I myself will be teaching Film 500: Story andScreenwriting Fundamentals
Classes start September 2nd and the program costs 1/4-1/3 as much as other top-tier programs. We are also one of the few programs to land close federal loan limits.
