community college vs university

how different are they actually? i mean, in terms of courses, practical experiences, and so on.

do you study more about critical studies or doing practical stuffs in cc?

what's the general education in film? liberal arts???

i know these are some very simple questions. but i'm an international student so i have no clue about such things like these.

is it true that most universities don't accept transfer credits from community colleges??
