Write a poem about applying to film school

"With dreams in my heart and passion in my soul,
I embark on a journey, to make my goals whole.
To film school, I apply, with hopes high,
To learn and create, beneath the sky.

The application process, a test of my will,
But with every step, I know I will fulfill.
The requirements and essays, a labor of love,
For the chance to bring stories, from above.

I submit my reel, with a sense of pride,
Hoping to show my skills, and stand out from the tide.
Interviews and auditions, a nerve-wracking wait,
But with each one, my determination stays great.

Finally, the acceptance letter arrives,
Bringing joy to my heart, and hope to my eyes.
To film school, I go, with excitement in my heart,
For a new chapter, and a fresh start."

Write a song about applying to film school in the style of bohemian rhapsody

Verse 1:
Applying to film school, it's a dream that I've had
For so long, always felt like I'm meant to do more
Every time I think about it, it's making me sad
'Cause it's not easy, and it's such a big score

Chorus:
I just want to make films, tell stories that are true
I'll do whatever it takes, to make it all come through
I'll submit my reel, and cross my fingers tight
Hoping that I'll get in, and make it through the night

Verse 2:
Writing essays and filling out forms,
It's such a tedious task, but I'm not feeling the norm
I know I'm not alone, there's others like me
Who wants to make films, and tell stories that will be

Chorus:
I just want to make films, tell stories that are true
I'll do whatever it takes, to make it all come through
I'll submit my reel, and cross my fingers tight
Hoping that I'll get in, and make it through the night

Bridge:
I'm just a poor boy, no family or friends
But my passion for film, it just never ends
I'll take this chance, and make the best of it
'Cause I know, this is where I want to sit

Chorus:
I just want to make films, tell stories that are true
I'll do whatever it takes, to make it all come through
I'll submit my reel, and cross my fingers tight
Hoping that I'll get in, and make it through the night

Outro:
I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, can you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very fright'ning me
(Galileo) Galileo
(Galileo) Galileo, Galileo
I'm just a poor boy, no family or friends
But my passion for film, it just never ends

Note: Bohemian Rhapsody is a classic and iconic song, I've tried to emulate the style while writing a poem about applying to film school.

Write a Weezer song about applying to film school

Verse 1:
I'm sitting here with my pen and paper
Thinking about my future and where it'll take ya
I know what I want and it's clear as a day
I wanna make films, and tell stories in my own way

Chorus:
I'm applying to film school, it's my only choice
I'll do whatever it takes, to find my own voice
I'll submit my reel, and wait for the call
'Cause I know, this is where I want to be, after all

Verse 2:
I'm reading scripts and watching films
I'm taking notes, and learning the skills
I'm talking to the professors, and getting their advice
I'm doing everything I can, to make sure I pay my price

Chorus:
I'm applying to film school, it's my only choice
I'll do whatever it takes, to find my own voice
I'll submit my reel, and wait for the call
'Cause I know, this is where I want to be, after all

Bridge:
I'm not in it for the fame or the money
I just want to tell stories that are true and funny
I'll take this chance, and make the best of it
'Cause I know, this is where I want to sit

Chorus:
I'm applying to film school, it's my only choice
I'll do whatever it takes, to find my own voice
I'll submit my reel, and wait for the call
'Cause I know, this is where I want to be, after all

Outro:
I'm just a poor boy, no family or friends
But my passion for film, it just never ends
So, I'll take this chance, and make the best of it
'Cause I know, this is where I want to sit.

Write a script for ratatouille but for film directing instead of cooking

INT. PARISIAN APARTMENT - DAY

We open on a small, cramped apartment. The camera moves through the cluttered space, finally settling on a young mouse, Remy, sitting at a makeshift drafting table, surrounded by storyboards and film equipment.

REMY (V.O.)
I've always dreamed of being a film director. But as a mouse, no one takes me seriously.

Remy looks around the room, dejected. Suddenly, an idea comes to him.

REMY (V.O.)
But what if I could prove myself? Show everyone that a mouse can make great films?

Remy sets to work, drawing storyboards and planning out a film.

CUT TO:

INT. PARISIAN FILM SCHOOL - DAY

Remy, now dressed in a suit and tie, walks into the film school. He approaches a receptionist.

REMY
I'm here to apply to the film program.

The receptionist looks skeptical, but hands Remy an application.

CUT TO:

INT. PARISIAN APARTMENT - DAY (LATER)

Remy is sitting at his drafting table again, surrounded by papers and equipment. He looks up as a knock comes at the door. It's the film school, and they want to see his portfolio. Remy gets to work, and we see montages of him working on his portfolio.

CUT TO:

INT. PARISIAN FILM SCHOOL - DAY (LATER)

Remy is in front of a panel of film school professors, showing them his portfolio. They are impressed.

PROFESSOR 1
This is some of the best work we've seen.

PROFESSOR 2
A mouse, you say? We had no idea.

Remy is beaming with pride.

CUT TO:

INT. FILM SET - DAY (LATER)

Remy is now a film student, and we see him directing a short film. He's in his element, and the other students and crew look up to him.

CUT TO:

INT. PARISIAN FILM SCHOOL - DAY (LATER)

Remy is graduating from film school, and receiving his diploma. He's surrounded by his family and friends, all proud of him.

REMY (V.O.)
I may be small, but I've proven that a mouse can make great films. And nothing will stop me from achieving my dreams.

The camera pulls out, and we see Remy standing tall, looking out at the city of Paris, ready to take on the film world.

THE END

Note: Ratatouille is a great movie and I've tried to emulate the style while writing a script for film directing but please keep in mind that this is a fictional script and not an actual production plan.

The Weezer one is my favorite. 🤣
