Help find underwater friendly film school + Feedback - Spring 2027

Hello - I am looking for a film school that

1. Has good industry accreditation like ScreenSkills etc to get industry experience upon graduation
2. Is on the shore with good scuba diving since my plan for film school is to explore underwater storytelling
3. Outside of the USA(I just left after 20 years here and want to explore another culture)
4. Masters program, it can't be Bachelors since Canadian Immigration denied my study permit and explicitly stated me doing a career change after masters in computer science + big tech job -> Bachelors in Film degree as reason for suspicion and rejection

The second criteria shrinks my options quite significantly but my strength is the cross-section of humans and animals underwater and I'm sticking to it! My personal statement has all the details and portfolio links. I would love to hear

• Any feedback on my personal statement. I realize I am taking several gambles, would like to know how the experts here feel about said gambles.
• Any feedback on my portfolio.
• Narrative fiction is a weakness. How much does my 4:30 min long semi-scripted documentary make up for it?
• Any schools in Europe and South America that are underwater friendly? I can speak some Spanish and French and open to new cultures/languages.

Some more backstory. I had to apply last minute for Edinburgh Napier University's Masters in Film program(details in personal statement) for Fall 2026. Time in closing in and I don't think I will even get my application looked at, at this point. So I'm looking for Jan 2027 film programs specializing in either of direction, cinematography or documentary track. All other comments welcome too.
