Funding - How Are We Going to Pay?

Hey guys,

Many now have found out they've been accepted into an MFA program--congratulations!

But how are we going to pay for film school?

I've started this thread so people can continue to help out in this important final step before school starts this fall.

I realize that getting a student loan is a big deal, but it's been ten years since I applied for my undergrad loan and I have no idea where to start.

Also, what about the schools we got into? How do we approach them to see if they will pay for any of the tuition (scholarship, workstudy, etc.)?

Finally, is anyone giving money away? What are the good scholarships to apply for?

If anyone has any thoughts, ideas or comments on how to fund film school, please post them here. Thanks.

Hey! Well, for me, I'm sourcing for funding from my country's Media Development Board and looking at other scholarship options... pretty hard coz few scholarships for media studies, but can't stop looking.. not so much into being in debt with the banks!

Also, Tisch Singapore's actually gathering funds to offer scholarships for its students to ease tuition (press) so keep an eye out for that.
