High school aspiring filmmaker

Hi! I guess like most of the users on this site I'm also interested in applying for film school and am currently a senior in high school. I'm most interested in the production side of film but am also open to taking whatever screenwriting or creative writing workshops these schools offer in hopes of breaking into the film industry so as of now I'm trying to be as open-minded as possible.

My top choices are: USC, NYU, Chapman, Emerson, and LMU

Quick first question! If I took any summer courses, say, at USC, how do I mention that in my application?

Welcome to the site! As far as your question - it depends on what questions are in the application... if you think there's a question where you could work it in... but I'm not sure it's too important in regards to being accepted to the school.

I could be wrong but I would think that schools are looking for your creative "drive" and other attributes... not necessarily what classes you've already taken.
