Just introducing myself

HI everyone, my name is tony rizo, my background is in film, television and VFX. I am originally from Chicago, and attended Columbia College of Art majoring in film and minored in art. I ran out of money and joined the Air Force, came to California, and after four years of active duty I began working as a PA in Hollywood working on music videos, commercials, low budget feature films, from PA to 1st AC, then into 3D animation and VFX for TV shows and low budget features. All the while as an AF Reservist in the 4th Combat Camera Squadron where I was trained as a combat videographer and documentation specialist. These days I work for a community college as a multimedia graphic artist, creating content for broadcast, web and print media. I am currently considering going for a PhD in Cinema and Media Studies at UCLA. So if you are a recent grad and have some tips for getting in I would love to hear from you.
