Great, yea I wasn’t seeing it on my mobile and I had to scroll through a lot of application status and couldn’t find any. Thank you Chris!

Removed the accepted widget at top of Application page. It's redundant as it's at the bottom of all pages now. Should work better on mobile now.

Is it just me or all the USC waitlisted people have a blank page on their USC Portal?
And does anyone know when the admission letter will come out for the USC waitlists?

Mine still says a decision hasn't been posted. And I think they can take people off the waitlist anytime between today and the first day of classes in Fall. In some cases, they've even taken people off the waitlist during the first week of the semester

Well that doesn't quite make sense isn't it? Since the admitted people would have their decision deadline by April 15th, then it should remain plenty of time for the admission office to decide which waitlist should be admitted to Fall. I'm nervous about it bc I'm an international student and it may take up to at least two months for me to get my visa processed and approved.

Btw, do you mind sending a screenshot of your portal for me to take a look at the decision notes? Mine is purely blank saying nothing, I'm so confused...

That must be in the case of people who cancel last minute or are no shows.

In all seriousness though, does anyone know if there is protocol around alerting a school (that you are waitlisted for) if you have a major accomplish, career credit or breakthrough emerge between applying and now? Do they allow that? Can it help your chances? Can it hurt? For example, if you are accepted to a major residency/development opportunity, win an award, are a finalist for [blank] opportunity...etc. I was going to ask admissions but wanted to check if anybody knew about that.

If your resume or portfolio meaningfully changes, I would just email admissions with the new information. New job, a sold screenplay, production deal, are selected into Sundance/IFP/Gotham labs, those should all be good enough. QFs and SFs to non-Nicholls contests, I would be hard pressed to update.
