Application Consultation from AFI&NYU Grad, Experienced Filmmaker

I offer consulting to help you navigate your artistic and professional path—from film school applications to labs and development programs. Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining your materials, I can help you articulate the story of your singular perspective—and how it has led to your most urgent and vital work.

I received my MFA in Directing from the AFI Conservatory, where I was a merit-based scholarship recipient. My work has screened at Tribeca, Cannes, AFI Fest, Outfest, and HollyShorts, and I’ve developed feature projects through acclaimed production companies and reputable development incubators. This followed my undergraduate studies at NYU Tisch. I have also worked as an application reviewer for Sundance Labs.

Through both my own experiences and my work as a lab reviewer and coach, I’ve learned that applications are about so much more than presenting your best work—they are opportunities to share your story. What shaped you into the filmmaker you are today? What questions have guided your creative life? And why is cinema the space where they can best be explored?

Together, we’ll work to uncover this for you: the stories you want to tell, and the ones from your own life that can illuminate your perspective with emotion and authenticity. We’ll focus on both strategy and story—aligning your voice across your statements, scripts, samples, and recommendations to create a cohesive and compelling portrait of who you are as an artist.

This work is best suited for undergraduate and graduate film school applications, but I also support filmmakers preparing for labs, fellowships, and incubator programs.

I’m especially passionate about supporting women, LGBTQ+, disabled, and minority filmmakers, with sliding-scale rates available based on need.

If you’re curious to learn more or want to discuss your goals, feel free to reach out directly here.

Let’s bring your story into focus.
