I apologize in advance if this is an over-asked question. I got accepted into CSULB Theory & Pract. Cinema and UCSB Film studies and I'm trying to decide which one would be the best choice. In particular I'm interested in post-production (Sound design/Video editing), though I wouldn't mind gaining hands-on production experience as well. I'm of the understanding that both of these programs are more theoretical oriented, which I do not really mind. CSULB seems like it's better in terms of location (closer to LA and the job market for film), while UCSB has a better academic reputation overall. Any personal experience in either of these programs or insight helps a lot! Thanks!
