Does Tisch use digital or film?

At my current school I use film cameras until my fourth film class, where I would move on to digital cameras. Do NYU Tisch students start off with film or digital? What do they mainly use?

Hey Man,

Looks like nobody replied to your post. NYU Undergrad students don't make a movie until 2nd year. There are two courses called Sight and Sound Film and Sight and Sound Video. S & S Film you make 5 black and white film movies, 2 with non sync sound. Sight and Sound Video is a documentary class meaning you don't make a fictional piece, you interview people. And in that class they use pretty low end video cameras, ones you could rent for about $100 a day.
