UCLA TFT Production Design MFA Interview

Hello everyone,

I am preparing for the UCLA Production Design MFA interview for Fall 2026.
(I have not received an interview email yet, but I understand that the time between notification and the actual interview can be quite short, so I wanted to prepare in advance.)

If there are any alumni or current graduate students here, I would greatly appreciate any insight into the interview process.

For example:

• How long is the interview?
• What was the overall atmosphere like?
• How many professors typically attend?
• What kinds of questions are usually asked?

Any advice or shared experiences would be incredibly helpful.
