Overall, it went well. The vibe was quite chill, but a little bit awkward at the same time because I was kind of nervous. I'm really looking forward to hearing back from them.

Did the panel mention to you that we’d hear back this week? I remember they said I’d hear around now, but I haven’t gotten any updates yet.

They told me I’d hear back within a week as well. I interviewed last Saturday so I guess today is technically within a week, but obviously not super encouraging

Thank you for keeping us posted! I’m rooting for you as well. It’s a bit frustrating not hearing back from the school when the decision is (probably) rejection.

i have heard nothing either way. application says "in review," but no waitlist notification. no rejection either. guess they're waiting for everyone to say yes?

Based on the logged applications from previous years, rejections are released about two weeks after acceptances. If that pattern holds, I’m guessing we’ll hear back tomorrow…

Has everyone heard back from UT Austin? I saw a post from someone who said rejections went out yesterday, but when I checked my portal, my status still says “In Review.”

I just checked the portal out of the blue today and saw that my status says “Admitted,” but I haven’t received an email or any notification yet. I remember @tomutube mentioning that he received an acceptance email. Does this mean I got in, or could it possibly be a glitch?

Mine still says in review. Did you get a waitlist notification?

No, I didn't get anything. It’s been radio silence since my February 4th interview, which is strange since they said they’d get back to me within a week. Maybe they meant a MONTH.

Hmm, that’s odd. I got an email saying I’d been waitlisted about a week after my interview, everyone else who was accepted seemingly was notified that week. It would be strange if they jumped over the waitlist. Let me know if you get an email confirming it, and if so, congrats!

Just received my acceptance letter a few minutes ago! I had a conditional offer since my undergraduate GPA (3.1) wasn’t particularly strong, so I imagine that may have contributed to the delay in processing.
