Aspiring screenwriter

Hi everyone- I am a former political science major who just decided to change to screenwriting after considering it for about a year. I love creative writing and decided to pursue a career that I would be happy with. My goal is definitely to try to get into USC Cinematic Arts in the Fall of 2026! Excited to try my all for something that I am passionate about. If there are forums or threads that I could start with, that would be amazing. I barely have any experience with the film industry in general.
