CSULB vs UC Irvine

Hey everyone! I’m a transfer student and I got accepted to csulb for narrative production and uc irvine for film and media studies, but i am having trouble deciding which school to choose. Any advice?

I say CSULB because it's at least closer to LA. If you put in the work and dedication into the program, you can make the most out of it. Also, the tuition is cheaper. You can save money on the side and fund your projects and thesis. UC Irvine wouldn't be my choice, you may find a film community there but I'm certain that it's small. Best chance if you decide to go to irvine, try networking with chapman students. Vibe is not there either, from what my friends told me. UC Irvine offers production classes but I think youtube videos are more efficient. At least w Long Beach, you get to practice your craft, while Irvine helps you write and think critically about film. Depends on what you want to do. Work hands-on or analyze film.
