Hello!
I'm curious what others have found when applying to MFA programs while already belonging to a guild or union. Does that work against you somehow, like being seen as "overqualified" or having too much professional experience already? Or does production experience and industry background actually work in your favor, since it's something these schools value?
Has anyone here been accepted to an MFA program with this kind of background? I'd love to hear how it how things worked out for you.
Thanks!
