New here

Does anybody here find the black backround / white font extremely irritating to the eyes? I can only take this sharp contrast for 5 - 10 minutes before having to leave! Is this something you guys have gotten used to?

Will... not... comment... on... how... much... better... the white on black is than the opposite. Oh. Damn.

I've totally gotten used to it, but I would be all for a different color scheme. THis comes up every so often, and we always mention changing it, and the same people always say the same things :D

I think that the site is actually easier on my eyes than other sites. In the morning when I am just waking up and go on the site my still tired eyes aren't quite adjusted to brightness, I can look at this site without much problem compared to sites with a white background. I hope that makes sense.

Ive never had a problem while on the site... but occaisonally I'll jump from here to a white page and it takes a moment to adjust.

Still, I like these colors- they're very film-ish. everyone knows black is the official color of Film and Theatre.
