NYFA in London

I am considering enrolling into New York Film Academy's summer 4 week program in London. I was wondering if anyone has had gone on NYFA programs, and what is it like? Also are you allowed to do anything you want when you do not have classes (I am going to do the high school program, so in other words is it strict?)?

I went to NYFA at Universal Studios this past summer. I'm not sure how "strict" your staff will be as I'm sure it varies from place to place, but where I was, the staff was almost nonexistent. Honestly, you only had to be under their supervision if you wanted to be. The only thing they really didn't let you do was leave campus on your own (which people did all the time) and smoke or drink (which people still did, and rarely got caught).

NYFA was the best month of my life. I hope you decide to go.

I second that. As I stated in another topic, I went to the NYFA when it was held at UCLA for the 4-week Production course -- greatest experience of my life. Still. And that was over 4 years ago.

Okay.... First off... I PERSONALLY know the man who is HEAD of the LONDON program because he is the same guy who was head of the MGM studios program last summer with me.

NICEST GUY IN THE WORLD and will give you ALOT of freedom. He's the type of person you'd want to come along and hang out with you. but he won't. :)

I liked how he ran the MGM studios program so much that I may even go to the London one next year.

Othere than than him... the program in general is the best time I've had my whole life. You learn so much and meet GREAT PEOPLE. Worth every penny. DOn't hesitate... GO... you can't go wrong.
