Syracuse&Artcenter are that bad? someone told me not to attend either and try next year again. Please help me out (+being in LA is that important???)

Hi everyone, I’m having a hard time to decide.. could you help me out I will appreciate it so much

First of all, thankfully, I got accepted by Syracuse University Film MFA (with huge scholarship) and Art Center College of Design Film MFA (without scholarship)

I got rejected by USC, UCLA, and UTaustin and I’m still waiting for LMU Film MFA. And I didn’t apply to any other school.

My ultimate goal is to work in the US film industry or TV series production. And I believe the perfect position would be a producer since I am very extrovert and I love getting things done and also love to assist other people. Of course I love other creative works, but I’m just leaning toward a producer position more for now.

So, I should choose one between SU and ACCD. I think both schools are great, but (Korean) people just don’t care...
One of the (Korean) alumni of USC told me both Syracuse and ACCD aren’t good. You just need to go to USC, UCLA, AFI and so on... So try again next year. It was hurtful to hear that and I don’t think I should retry. I think whether it is the top tier or not doesn’t matter that much.
Besides, those schools are usually more expensive.
I am the kind of person who believes that the name of my school doesn’t define me.

So I would like to listen to your guy’s valuable opinions to decide between SU and ACCD…
SU is that bad?
It has a great community, the professors take care each students a lot and it has an internship program in LA. The curriculum is well-balanced between hands-on skills and theoretical study. I like the fact that it’s a 3 years program, students make 3 films during the program.

And I believe ACCD is great, too. I can finish the program intensively in 2 years. It has a grad show event, which I can show my work to industry guests. And since the class size is bigger than SU, it will be more helpful for production.
And it seems like they focus on the professional skills and knowledge right away. And the location is better than Suracuse, because it’s near to LA…
But also, I saw the post about ‘being in LA’… in the comments, people told the person that it’s okay to be in other region.
But again, when I asked about SU and ACCD here, someone answered me that Syracuse is not a place that you would go to pursue the film. So… Should I go to ACCD?

And why I can’t find any single accd alumnus here? Hahaha they don’t exist...?

And people seem like confusing the college of Visual&Performing Arts and new house school of public communications in the SU.
Vpa has the film program, and new house is for the TV. Film MFA program is 3 years and new house has 1 year MFA program.
Even Hollywood reporter mentioned New House in the FILM school ranking news. (Like, what?? )
But in the school’s webpage, you can confirm that the one on the ranking is the vpa. (On Variety, it’s definitely VPA)

Anyway…. I need you guys to help so desperately…
