University of Utah vs University Of New Orleans?

Hello,
Today I received my acceptance letter from the University of Utah and the University of New Orleans. Those are the only schools I applied to. Now I am confused about which one to choose. Both gave me a good financial package.
Any suggestions about which one is a better program?
Thank you.

Congratulations! Not getting in tons of student loan debt is smart. I think the best way to decide is to visit both places (which I'm guessing is difficult to do during a pandemic). The University of Utah is the flagship University of the public university system in Utah which means it's very well funded as a University. I went to UNO but not for film. The University of New Orleans is a smaller, regional university. Good Luck!

Thank you so much Voodoo man. As you mentioned visiting these places is not practical for me as I am an international student. I heard some good reviews about the UNO program but there is not much information about the Utah MFA. I am still doing my research. Thank you once again for the reply.

You are welcome Cinefan. Just curious, Salt Lake City and New Orleans are very different places. What made you apply to just those two schools in such very different places? I ask because answering that question might help you decide which place would fit you better.

I was looking for an affordable but good film school. And I realized that both these schools have good programs and they support students with fee waivers and scholarships. I was never worried about the geographical location of the film school.
