Quick question about interviews. I am writing down some questions for the interviewer and some of them are personal to my application and how they felt about it. Would that be appropriate or do they prefer questions about the program specifically?

I personally wouldn’t. You don’t want to seem eager or lacking in confidence. The fact that you’re being interviewed tells you what they thought about it, IMHO.

I’d make the questions more about the general program than your application itself. Show you’re already thinking ahead.

The thing I got most about this, as I stated above, is that they want to see if you can communicate your thoughts eloquently and efficiently and if the person you are in the interview matches the idea of the person you presented with your application.

If you’re being interviewed, that means they already like it, and like you (at least on paper). I would avoid any questions that ask them to expand.

My interviewer didn’t even mention my visual sample outside of a quick comment pertaining to a totally unrelated topic of discussion.

1. What was the moment I knew I wanted to become a filmmaker?
2. How do I deal with stress/conflict/how would I handle a disagreement?
3. What is my leadership style?
4. What movies I was loving lately
5. Where I saw myself in 5 years

But he opened up the floor pretty quickly to let me ask him questions!

Hello all and congrats on the interviews!! I was wondering if anyone has any insight on how long the interview roll out tends to go on for? I’m hopeful because I saw last year someone say they seem to go through the alphabet, but I’m wondering if I just didn’t get one since the first interviews seemed to be sent out early this January

Hey guys just finished my interview! I would say the main difference between my interview and the others mentioned was the fact that mine was an hour and a half long and it was extremely personal. I was not asked really any technical questions truthfully lol.

Regardless I had a lot of fun speaking with her!
