I got rejected just now
Sorry to hear. But try not to get disheartened. Remember many people didn't get in their first try. Here's a great article about it.

So...you’re applying for film school, huh? I mean, that’s just my assumption. Not sure why you would bother reading this otherwise, especially with where we are currently in The Cycle of Applications. These next couple weeks are pretty much when all the major film school programs have their...

Does anyone know when information about if we got scholarships is released. Am I supposed to submit my letter of intent first or do I have to wait before I do.
I'm also wondering this. Has anybody received scholarship info with their acceptance letter?
I think scholarship info comes before the deadline for submitting the letter of intent, but I'm not sure if they've already been sent out or not.

I emailed Student Services. They said we'll be notified of any scholarships we're receiving in March/April (should be before the deadline to enroll). They also said if we do attend, there will be further opportunities every spring semester to apply for merit-based scholarships.

Long time lurker. I was just sent an email notification today at 2:30pm that I was admitted. I thought I was awaiting a rejection. The letter of acceptance is dated for two days ago 2/22. Thank you guys for the thread and chatting your way through it. It helped me during the long wait. I'm very sorry for those who got a rejection. I know what that feels like. Keep going. Don't stop. That was what I told myself before I opened the email. I could apply again. I could do it on my own. I could do anything as long as I keep moving forward.

Has anyone gotten a waitlist update yet? I hoped to hear back after the deadline to accept in April, but haven't heard anything. Has anyone gotten off it?

No, but I’ve heard we can expect the main wave of Fall offers to come via email by the end of the week - so we will see if that holds true
Did you hear this from the admissions people? I just reached out, and they informed me that it's a ranked waitlist. I didn't know this.

Yeah, they have to have a form of a rank somewhere, they won’t just randomly select waitlist people to fill the Fall, you know? They have most likely reevaluated the waitlist pool after all of us said yes or no in regards to accepting our waitlist offer and have a ranking in place. How they determine It, I don’t know, but it has to exist in order for them to start navigating people off of it in order to fill a limited number of spots

And I was informed “end of this week” info by someone I spoke to who has a very loose connection to the admissions side of things
